Bacterial Dance consists of two twenty-minute live electronic performances recorded in the Netherlands.
The A-side Bacterial Dance amplifies the sounds of obscure microscopic organisms from an unexplored world. It was performed for a live stream on the show Ruido Vírico, organised by Audiotalaia (netlabel and media channel) in May 2021.
The B-Side Σάος (Sáos) (which refers to Mount Saos in Samothrace, Greece) uses field recordings and a steady build of dynamics to create suspense while navigating an unfamiliar landscape. Recorded in October 2016 and performed at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.
